The Memphians: A Legacy Unshaken

For seventy-one proud years, we’ve stood our ground,
A brotherhood of strength, both bold and true.
Through trials past, our light has still been found,
A steadfast torch that time cannot subdue.

Within these streets, our legacy remains,
A guiding hand where shadows dare to creep.
Through wisdom’s path, we break oppression’s chains,
And plant the dreams our fathers bade us keep.

The Memphians—our name stands firm and bright,
Unbowed by tempests, rooted deep in grace.
Through every age, we shine with steadfast light,
Uplifting all, no matter time or place.

No fleeting cause nor shifting winds dismay,
Our oath is sworn, our mission clear and true.
To mold, to build, to forge a better way,
With honor crowned, with purpose bold in view.

Our presence in this city shall endure,
A voice of strength, of duty, and of will.
A pillar firm, unwavering and sure,
A guiding force no darkness yet can still.

From elder hands to youth, we pass the flame,
A sacred charge no years can dim or fade.
Through trials faced, we answer still the same,
In service sworn, in sacrifice repaid.

No selfish gain, no call for fleeting fame,
Our work is love, our hearts forever tied.
For Memphis calls, and we shall bear her name,
A watchful guard forever at her side.

We teach, we lead, we stand with lifted hands,
A brother’s bond no foe shall break apart.
For unity, for justice, here we stand,
With minds of steel and fire within our heart.

O Memphis! Know thy sons shall not depart,
Nor yield their charge to silence or despair.
For still we build with strong and faithful heart,
And still we serve with love beyond compare.

Through trials past and trials yet to be,
Through every storm, through every shifting tide,
The Memphians endure—our pledge is free,
To shape tomorrow, standing side by side.

The years may pass, but duty shall not wane,
As long as honor, love, and truth remain.
